Changes to Cicero Retail

The death of my dear friend and business cohort, Katie Barton, has lead to substantial changes at Cicero Retail. The Percy Street Gallery where Cicero was co-located, has now closed and Cicero Retail has moved to 36-42 Swift Street Wellington.
The opening hours are now Tuesdays and Fridays 10am – 5pm or by appointment.
Katie’s death has also meant that the Cicero website is not as up to date as I would like. My hope is that it will be back to 150% by the end of February so please check back regularly and email me if there is something in particular you are looking for but can’t see on the website.

Huge Array Of New Stock Listed

This week has seen over 50 new products listed on the Cicero website and the aim is to load more stock each week so keep checking back regularly.
New products listed include: Lego, a great range of books including the Usborne range, children’s games, Christmas arts and crafts materials and a huge range of Djeco puzzles.
Once toys, games and books have been listed I will move on to the pre-adored clothing.
Remember, if you are looking for a particular piece of clothing or toy and it is not on the website send me an email, it may be amongst the 900 odd products I am yet to list or I can often get it in for you.

Children's Store inspiration

I have been back from my trip almost a month now and I don’t know where the time has gone. I have lots of ideas and contacts for new product lines, concepts and store layouts which have taken my time away from the website for a period. We have been promising to list lots of new preadored and new children’s clothing and products on the website but our time has been taken with unpacking our vast array of children’s books, games, puzzles, craft sets, mobiles, babies linen, art supplies, backpacks and so the list goes on.
Most of our new stock is unpacked now so we can work on fulfilling our promise to list lots of new children’s toys, books, clothing, games, puzzles etc on the website, this week – stay posted!

Cicero had a very sucessful buying trip on the weekend have returned to Wellington with Fred Bare, Country Road, Osh Kosh, Papoose, Pumpkin Patch, Ladybird, Marks and Spencer, Soda, Jack and Milly, Bebe, Gap….all in excellent preloved condition and all included in the 25% off sale now on instore. A huge range for boys, girls and babies, all ages newborn to 12 years.

We are always adding new products to our range in the games and toys room to ensure that we have extra special products for all age groups in all price ranges. July saw the arrival of a gorgeous new pink FlatOUT Bear, a selection of hand crocheted baby rugs in stunning colours, the spectacular alpaca beanie range, new Djeco puzzles for all ages, a fabulous new selection of arts and crafts materials including Crayola Activity Centres, the Feelings Series of books by Trace Moroney to add to the already extensive collection of books at Cicero Gear for Kids. August will see more new arrivals, with a focus on handmade and unique. Don’t forget, if you are looking for something in particular we are always happy to try and source it for you.

We have an amazing range of new and pre-adored children’s clothing in-store at present and we must make room for our huge kids summer collection. All in-store prices have been reduced by at least 25% with many pieces down to 50% of their already low prices. We have Fred Bare jeans in near new condition for $6, an Esprit cotton jumper, hardly worn $8, girls dresses – Country Road, Trelise Cooper, Fred Bare, Pumpkin Patch, Osh Kosh, Seed, Minihaha, Gap, Chino…… at a mere fraction of their RRP.

Our pre-adored pieces are exactly that, they are too good to be called second-hand, they have been adored by their previous owners.
