Selling To Cicero
Conditions of acceptance for sale of goods on consignment
Items placed for sale
Items must be fashionable, exceptional quality, in excellent condition, cleaned and pressed.
Ciceros’ computerised consignment stock management system enables fast and accurate information to be provided as to the status of your goods at all times.
Clothes placed with Cicero which remain unsold for greater than 6 months should be collected. Should you not wish to collect them at this time they will be donated to charity.
All items placed for sale will be listed on computer and a copy will be available upon request.
Pricing of items and payment
Items are priced by Cicero.
Rates of payment:
Consignment 50% (less GST on sale price when the item sells)
We do not accept all items for resale. To maintain the very high Cicero standards we are very picky with the quality and brands we stock, please do not be offended by this.
All items will be included in any seasonal sales that Cicero may have.
All unsold items at the end of each season will be reduced in price for end of season sale.
Please check your stock status on a regular basis, as we do not notify you on sale or collection of consigned goods.
This can be done by telephone, email or calling into the shop personally.
Responsibility
Every care will be taken to ensure the safety of all items from theft or mishap. However, Cicero can not accept responsibility for items placed with us.
How do I get paid?
Cicero consignment payouts are paid by credit to your shop account or direct deposit to your nominated bank account.
Do I have to wait until all my goods are sold?
No. You can collect any money owing at any time during business hours.
How long do my goods remain in the store?
We ask that all unsold goods be collected within 6 months of date of consignment.
If goods are not collected they are automatically sent to charity.
Do I have wash, iron or dry-clean my goods for consignment?
Yes please. Remember, the better the presentation of your clothes the higher the price they will attract and the sooner they will sell.
